 DAY 1

There are three temples that are the finest places to see in Bangkok. The reason that they are situated near each other means you should cover them all in a day. The Grand Palace is home to Wat Phra Kaew, which shows the elegant Buddha. The whole Grand Palace complex is admirable and is totally a worth the steep 500 Baht entrance fee. The significant details and vibrant color of many temples, stupas, statues and palaces are sure to make your day.

The next destination is Wat Pho, a group of incredible stupas and a huge reclining Buddha. This gold giant is ultimate to capture in photos and a nice surprise when you watch it for yourself. The grounds of Wat Pho are fun to discover.

A quick ferry ride from the near Wat Pho will reach you to Wat Arun, one of the most significant temples in Bangkok. It is truly a worth a visit. You can watch the gorgeous sunset and get a good photo of it.

Thewet Pier is also a great place to watch the sunset in Bangkok. You can see it from the docks or there are a couple of happening bars which give you a spectacular view.[1]

DAY TWO

If you’re in the city for a short period then you must head to Chinatown on day two. There’s lots of hustle bustle in the city, mouthwatering food and a few historic buildings scattered all around. Chinatown is definitely entertaining places to visit.

There are numerous other things to do in Bangkok, from cycling around a rural island (Koh Kret) to shopping till you drop at huge malls downtown. It’s also great to wander around the Khao San Road, where you can explore lots of bars, souvenir stalls, massage parlors and everything you can think of. You could visit Lumpini Park, an oasis of green surrounded by breathtaking skyscrapers.

If you happen to be in Bangkok half day trip to Amphawa is a necessary visit. The major attraction is the floating market with lots of shopping shopping and to have a leisurely walk around and there is some tasty street food to be found.

Finishing the day at one of Bangkok’s rooftop bars is definitely your favorite things to do in this Bangkok city. The view is marvelous but you’ll pay for it with overpriced drinks but worth a visit. If you want perfect city getaway to Bangkok you’ll probably want to visit to a more up market rooftop bar, apparently Vertigo and Moon Bar is one of the better ones.

Thus this would be the best way to spend your mini holiday in Bangkok city. So pack your bags, book your flight tickets, and be ready.
